Eugene Ferris married Eileen Gibbons, daughter of ... Gibbons.2 He was born on 4 May 1908 in Bolton, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of William Ferris and Sarah Ballard.1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Flear Bottom, Bolton, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the grandson of Robert Greathead and son of William and Sarah Ferris.3 William, Sarah and their two children Eugene and William travelled aboard SS Corsican of the Allan Line Steamship Co. Ltd leaving Liverpool on 27 June 1913 bound for Quebec in Canada. William was listed as GF Ferris but I am pretty sure it is William. He confirms this on his naturalization papers.4 At the time of his fathers death in 1966 Eugene was living in Paris.5 Eugene died on 6 November 1991 in Paris, Ontario, Canada, aged 83 from complications from Parkinsons disease which was diagnosed when he was sixty years old.6,7
