     George Henry Parsons was born on 31 March 1913 in Kuridala, Queensland, Australia, he was the son of William Charles Parsons and Isabella Irvine.1 He married Ruth Hollievene Johnston, daughter of James Henry Johnston and Ada Jane Greathead, in Australia they had no children.1 His wife Ruth died on 23 June 2002 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia, aged 82.1 George died on 9 May 2010 in New South Wales, Australia, aged 97.1

     Marion Gledhill married Bertram Greathead, son of Herbert Greathead and Gertrude Hemmings, in May 1985 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England.1 The will of Bertram was proved by Marion Greathead his widow on 17 February 2004.2 Marion died on 20 November 2013 in England.3

     Christopher Whitelock was born in 1675 in Yorkshire, England.2 He was the son of George Whitelock.2 He married Ann Ellerton on 4 May 1697 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.2 He married Elizabeth Harland on 28 May 1700 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1 Christopher died in 1737 in Yorkshire, England.3 Christopher was buried on 21 September 1737 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.3 Administration papers were issued with a will on 12 November 1738 to his lawful and natural son George.2

Francis Whitelock1

     Francis Whitelock was baptised in March 1736 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Christopher Whitelock and Catherine Ellerton.1 He married Elizabeth Ellerton, daughter of Edward Ellerton and Ann Coupland, on 28 April 1761 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1 Francis left a will on 31 May 1812 in which he left the largest bequest to his oldest son Peter and he was to be his sole Executor. He left other bequests to his grandson Francis Edward son of his deceased son Edward, hsi daughters Ann and Elizabeth Robinson and grandaughter Mary the daughter of his deceased daughter Catherine Armstrong.2 Francis died on 25 August 1813 in Bellerby, Yorkshire, England, aged 77.3,4 Francis was buried in St Michael and All Angels, Downholme, Yorkshire, England, Francis and Elizabeth are buried under the same gravestone.3,2

She married Francis Whitelock, son of Christopher Whitelock and Catherine Ellerton, on 28 April 1761 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1 Her husband Francis died on 25 August 1813 in Bellerby, Yorkshire, England, aged 77.3,2 Elizabeth died on 22 June 1821 in Yorkshire, England.3,2 Elizabeth was buried in St Michael and All Angels, Downholme, Yorkshire, England, Francis and Elizabeth are buried under the same gravestone.3,4

     George Whitelock was baptised on 8 April 1701 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.2 He was the son of Christopher Whitelock and Elizabeth Harland.1 He married Isabel Lodge on 29 April 1731 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.3 George left a will on 22 March 1756 it was witnessed by Isabel's brother Francis and George's brothers Matthew and Christopher. George requested his wife Isabel and daughter Elizabeth be joint Executors. He also stated he was 'being weak and infirm, but of sound and perfect memory.2' George died in 1757 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.2 George was buried on 11 November 1757 in St Michael and All Angels, Downholme, Yorkshire, England.2

     Charles Rutt Hopkins was born in 1857 in Calne, Wiltshire, England.2,3 He was the son of William Rutt Hopkins and Maria Giddings.4 He married Frances Harriett Greathead, daughter of Joseph Greathead and Elizabeth Baker, on 20 December 1922 in Bruce County, Ontario, Canada, the baptist ceremony was witnessed by Isabella Greathead and David Helwig both from Southampton. Charles was a widower and a retired railway man.1,2 Charles died before 14 September 1934.5

     Della May Wyley was born on 24 August 1892 in Grey, Ontario, Canada, her father Thomas was listed as a sawyer on her birth register.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Wyley and Frances Harriett Greathead.1 She married Charles Lancelot Stuart Palmer on 1 July 1914 in Bruce County, Ontario, Canada, the wedding was a Methodist ceremony. Charles was described as a farmer.3 Della signed her name as Mrs Della Palmer from 2 Elm Grove Avenue, Toronto when registering her mothers death on 17 September 1934. Her mother had died three days earlier.1

Sarah Ferris née Ballard
     Sarah Ballard was born on 11 December 1888 in Bolton, Lancashire, England.2,3 She was the daughter of Edward Ballard and Susanna Simpson.4,5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 21 Buxton Street, Bolton, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Edward Ballard.6 She married William Ferris, son of William Ferris and Sarah Jane Cosgrave, on 4 March 1908 in Register Office, Bolton, Lancashire, England, by certificate. The ceremony was witnessed by Henry Jones and Ellen Ballard. William gave his address as 2 Bradford Park, Bolton and was working as a machine minder in the Bleachworks. Sarah gave her address as 109 Leicester Street, Bolton and was working as a cotton reeler. Both of them were aged nineteen.1,7 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Flear Bottom, Bolton, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the wife of William, the son in law of Robert Greathead.8 William, Sarah and their two children Eugene and William travelled aboard SS Corsican of the Allan Line Steamship Co. Ltd leaving Liverpool on 27 June 1913 bound for Quebec in Canada. William was listed as GF Ferris but I am pretty sure it is William. He confirms this on his naturalization papers.9 Sarah died on 4 February 1933 in General Hospital, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada, aged 44 from a lung infection. Her usual address was 133 Barons Avenue.2 Sarah was buried on 8 February 1933 in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada, after a service at Holy Family Church.10

     Edward Ballard was born in 1843 in Brighton, Sussex, England.2,3 He married Susanna Simpson in 1868 in Bury, Lancashire, England.4,5 Edward was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 3 April 1881 in 20 Earl Street, Bury, Lancashire, England, Edward was listed as a musician playing a tenor horn.6 Edward was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in 21 Buxton Street, Bolton, Lancashire, England, Edward was a sewing machine agent.7 Edward was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 10 Chemial Street, Bolton, Lancashire, England, Edward was a general labourer, little Albert Heys his grandson, son of his daughter Ada was staying with them, although he is also listed as being with his parents at home.8 Edward died in 1922 in Bolton, Lancashire, England.9
