     Elizabeth Greathead was baptised on 15 December 1804 in Solihull, Warwickshire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Greathead and Elizabeth Weaver. In the census of 30 March 1851 at Eve Hill, Dudley, Staffordshire, England, she was listed as the sister of William Greathead.³ Elizabeth died in 1852 in Dudley, Staffordshire, England.^4,5 Elizabeth was buried on 30 December 1852 in St James, Dudley, Staffordshire, England, record states aged 57 believe this is wrong and should be 47.⁶

     Mary Greathead was born about 1817 in Yarm, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Greathead and Charlotte Ridley.¹ In the census of 30 March 1851 at 21 Linton Street, Islington, London, England, she was listed as the sister in law of Samuel Sillifant Mary is working as a governess.² In the census of 7 April 1861 in 24 Pentonville Road, Clerkenwell, London, England, she was listed as the visitor of Elizabeth Nurse and her son James, Elizabeth was a lodging house keeper. Mary had no occupation and her age was given as 30 years of age. Presumably this was an error on the part of Elizabeth or the enumerator.³

     John Greathead was born on 1 December 1807 in Edinburgh, Midloathian, Scotland.^2,3 He was the son of John Greathead and Jean Hunter.¹ He was baptised on 15 December 1807 in St Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midloathian, Scotland, his father Thomas was a shoemaker and his mother Janet Turnbull and the family lived in Nicholsons Street.^4,3

     Robert Greethead was born about 1838. He was the son of Robert Augustus Greethead and Mary Ann Slader. He was baptised on 27 August 1838 in Wesleyan Methodist, Baptist Mills, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Anna Margaretta Wilson was born in 1792.¹ She married Richard Greathead Wilson, son of Richard Wilson and Margaret Greathead, on 11 March 1812 in St Margaret, Saleby, Lincolnshire, England.^1,2 Her husband Richard died on 10 May 1824 in Madras, India, aged 40.¹ She witnessed the marriage of Sarah Martha Hewitt and Richard Henry Greathead Wilson on 3 June 1858 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.^3,4,5 Anna died on 13 January 1864.¹

     Anna Margaretta Wilson was born on 2 February 1813 in Madras, India, Ann was baptised by the Reverend M. Davis, Chaplain, her father was Captain in the Hon'ble Company's service 14th Regt N.I.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Richard Greathead Wilson and Anna Margaretta Wilson.¹ In the census of 3 April 1881 in Dover House, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the sister of Richard Henry Greathead Wilson.⁴ In the census of 5 April 1891 in Dover House, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, she was listed as the sister in law of Anne Eliza Wilson.⁵ Anna died on 11 December 1897 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, aged 84.^1,6

The ceremony was witnessed by Harriet M Hewett, Anna Wilson, C J Cooke and G A Hewett. Richard was a solicitor and his father Richard was serving in the Madras Army. Sarah's father George was a clerk. Richard and Sarah's daughter Harriott was at school in Burgage in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.⁷ His wife Sarah died on 1873 in Uppingham, Rutland, England.⁸ He married Anne Eliza Disney in 1876 in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.⁹ Richard was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in Dover House, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, Richard was a retired Solicitor, Richard and his wife had his daughter Harroitt and his sister Ann living with them.¹⁰ Richard died in 1889 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹¹

     Elizabeth Lyall Ferrier was baptised on 7 August 1826 in Frockheim, Angus, Scotland.^2,3 She was the daughter of William Ferrier and Elspeth Gibb.¹ She married Alexander Stewart on 25 February 1848 in Kirkden, Angus, Scotland.^1,4 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 43 Millgate Street, Kirkden, Angus, Scotland, she was listed as the wife of Alexander Stewart.⁵ In the census of 7 April 1861 in Delles Land, Liff, Dundee, Angus, Scotland, she was listed as the wife of Alexander Stewart.⁶ In the census of 2 April 1871 in 29 Cotton Street, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, she was listed as the wife of Alexander Stewart.⁷ In the census of 3 April 1881 in 8 Benvie Road, Benvie, Dundee, Angus, Scotland, she was listed as the wife of Alexander Stewart.⁸ Elizabeth was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 41 Lockland Street, Arbroath, Angus, Scotland, Elizabeth and Euphemia are living together. Euphemia's age is incorrectly recorded as age 68, she is still described as an imbecile.¹⁰ Elizabeth died on 5 September 1903 in Carnoustie, Angus, Scotland, aged 77.¹

In the census of 31 March 1901 in 24 Lynn Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of William Thomas Ryan Harry was a licensed valuer and apprser.² He married Elizabeth Lyall Ferrier Stewart, daughter of William Ferrier Stewart and Marion Strafford, in 1905 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.³ Harry was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 51 Milton Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England, Harry was an auctioneer's assistant living with his wife a music teacher living in their five roomed home.⁴ Harry was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 2 Thornton Street, West Hartlpool, Durham, England, Harry was an auctioner valuer living with his wife and working for W J Ryan who were aucioneers and valuers.⁵ His wife Elizabeth died on 1932 in Darlington, Durham, England.⁶ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register he was listed as living at 7 Wilton Avenue, West Hartlpool, Durham, England, with his sister Charles Harry was an auctioneer valuer in general practice.⁷ He married Venetta Charlotte Mary Taylor in 1943 in West Hartlepool, Durham, England.⁸ Harry died on 12 October 1951 in Hartlepool, Durham, England, aged 72.^9,10 Harry did not leave a will. Park Road, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, The ceremony was witnessed by his brother Frederick, Richard Allinson and Elizabeth Killan and took place after a licence was issued. Henry gave his address as 50 Eamont Gardens, West Hartlepool and Hannah as 28 Gainsford Street, West Hartlepool. Henry described himself a a shipping clerk.^1,4 Henry was listed on the electoral roll in 1919 at 84 Colwyn Road, West Hartlepool. Hannah was not on the list, she was under 30 so although women got the vote in 1918 it was nt until 1928 that the voting age was reduced to 21.¹ The birth announcement in the newspaper read Stewart - On 18 February at 84 Colwyn Road to Mr and Mrs H K Stewart a daughter (premature birth.)¹ Her husband Henry died on 3 April 1923 in 50 Portrack Lane (Union Workhouse), Stockton on Tees, Durham, England, from chronic malaria and cachexia, presunably in the hospital. He was recorded as a shipping clerk by his brother Norman who registered his death. Norman gave his address as 7 Bede Grove, West Hartlepool.^5,1 Hannah lived alone in 14 Derby Street from 1934 to 1946 when her brother John moved in. They stayed there until her death.¹ Hannah died on 15 March 1953 in Brierton Hospital, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, Her obituary stated she was the beloved wife of the late Harry Stewart.¹ Hannah was buried on 17 March 1953 in Stranton Church, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, The Cortege left 14 Derby Street at 1:50pm for the church.¹
