     James Herbert Deary was born on 9 October 1870 in South Repps, Norfolk, England.1,2 He married Mary Ann Elizabeth King, daughter of Montford King and Sarah Ann Pearce, on 3 April 1893 in St John the Baptist, South Royston, Norfolk, England.1,2,3 An unknown person was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 The Vale, Hackford by Reepham, Norfolk, England, James was a railway signalman living with his family.4 James was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Hackford Vale, Reepham, Norfolk, England, James was a railway signalman living with his wife and children in their 5 roomed home.5 James died on 16 April 1921 in Aylsham, Norfolk, England, aged 50.2

     Mary Ann Elizabeth King was born about 1871 in Mordon, Cambridgeshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Montford King and Sarah Ann Pearce.1 She married James Herbert Deary on 3 April 1893 in St John the Baptist, South Royston, Norfolk, England.1,2,3 An unknown person was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 The Vale, Hackford by Reepham, Norfolk, England, James was a railway signalman living with his family.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Hackford Vale, Reepham, Norfolk, England, she was listed as the wife of James Herbert Deary.5 Mary died on 1 November 1959 in Norwich, Norfolk, England.6,7 The will of Mary was proved on 25 February 1960 in Peterborough to Francis Herbert Deary.      Francis Herbert Deary was born on 15 July 1893 in Leytonstone, Essex, England.1,2 He was the son of James Herbert Deary and Mary Ann Elizabeth King.1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in The Vale, Hackford by Reepham, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of an unknown person.3 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 15 Victoria Crescent, Royston, Hertfordshire, England, he was listed as the grandson of Montford King Francis was a solicitors clerk.4 The will of Mary was proved by Francis Herbert Deary her son on 25 February 1960 in Peterborough, her estate was valued at £181 1s 1d.5 Francis died on 5 December 1980 aged 87.2
