In the census of 3 April 1881 in Cottage, Foxhall, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Edward Banthorpe.2 He married Christianna Fryett in 1886 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.3 Arthur was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in Lower Farm, Newbourn, Suffolk, England, Arthur was an agricultural labourer. In the census of 31 March 1901 in Hall Estate, Boulge, Norwich, Norfolk, England, she was listed as the wife of Arthur Banthorpe.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Park Gate Cottage, Boulge, Suffolk, England, she was listed as the wife of Arthur Banthorpe.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Christianna was listed as living at 267 Main Road, Deben, Suffolk, England, with her husband Arthur.
