In the census of 6 June 1841 in Badingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Samuel Banthorpe.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Goddards Cottage, Badingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Samuel Banthorpe Simon was an agricultural labourer.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Hoxne Union Workhouse, Stradbroke, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the inmate of Simon was listed as an agricultural labourer.4 Simon died in 1863 in Hoxne, Suffolk, England.5

In the census of 30 March 1851 at Goddards Cottage, Badingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Samuel Banthorpe.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Badingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Samuel Banthorpe Jethro was an agricultural labourer.4 He married Emma Joan Catchpole in 1876 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England.5 Jethro was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in New Street, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, Jethro was working as an agricultural labourer. His mother as staying with them. Presumably to help with little Ellen.6 Jethro was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in Vyees Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, Jethro was an agricultural labourer.7
