     Dorothy Jones married William Gilbert Banthorpe, son of William Banthorpe and Alice Maud Sadd, in 1947 Dorothy was cleraly using the name of Banthorpe prior to the marriage as in the GRO index two entries appear. One marrying a Banthorpe to a Jones the other a Banthorpe to a Banthorpe.1,2 Dorothy died after 1975 but before October 2000.1

Rachel Hannah Runnacles

     Rachel Hannah Runnacles was born about 1885. She was the daughter of George Runnacles. She married William Banthorpe, son of Thomas Banthorpe and Caroline Fairweather, on 18 February 1924 in Register Office, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, after a licence was taken out. The ceremony was witnessed by John Thomas Banthorp and Alice Mary Mitchell.1 Her husband William died on 18 March 1931 in Benhall, Suffolk, England, aged 68 from brocho pneumonia and inflenza. No post mortem took place. William was described as a farm labourer. His son John Thomas registered his death.2,3,4 Rachel died in 1951 in Blyth, Suffolk, England.5,6
