Arthur and Dorothy his parents believed it to be a prank.4 Dorothy and her two children Robert and Dorothy sailed on board TSS Resolute leaving New York on 30 June 1934 at noon bound for Cape Town. Was this as a result of the attempted kidnap?5,6 Siblings Robert and Dorothy were confirmed on 30 January 1949 as adults.2 He married Margaret Ann Dell, daughter of Henry W Dell and Mildred V Salfner.7 His wife Margaret died on 20 January 2005 in Pennsylvania, USA, aged 66.7,8 Robert served 4 years active duty and a total of 43 years in the Navy and Naval Reserves. He retired with a rank of Lt. Commander. He retired from RCA in Cherry Hill, NJ after almost 30 years. Robert was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.7 Robert died on 5 May 2011 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA, aged 81 His peaceful death at home was recorded in the Courier Post of 9 May 2011.9,10,11 Robert was buried on 11 May 2011 in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA.12,11
