Elizabeth Florrie Smith was born on 5 November 1919 in West Ham, London, England.1 She was the daughter of Walter Ernest Smith and Florrie Chapman.1 She married Thomas Walter Harry Turmaine, son of Harry Turmaine and Laura Stevens, on 7 October 1945 in Hornchurch, Essex, England.1 Elizabeth and Thomas emigrated on 13 July 1954 from England Their voyage out from Britain was fairly uneventful. They travelled through the Panama canal after first calling at Curacao. They saw the buoys marking the Equator and arrived in New Zealand on 19 August 1954. It was blowing a small gale and pouring with rain.1 Betty and Tom had no children.1

Richard Wilson Greatheed was born on 14 March 1749 in Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 He was the son of Marmaduke Greatheed and Ann Wilson.1 He was baptised on 28 March 1749 in St George and St Peter, Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 Richard was elected as a Fellow to the Royal Society in1793.2 Richard signed his will on 4 October 1831.3 Richard died in October 1832 in Nottingham Street, St Marylebone, London, England, aged 83.4,5 Richard was buried on 24 October 1832 in St Marylebone, London, England.5 His estate was probated on 31 October 1832 in London to Abragam Grellat the sole Executor to whom Admon was granted.3

Anne Greatheed was born on 30 November 1750 in Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 She was the daughter of Marmaduke Greatheed and Ann Wilson.1 She was baptised on 11 December 1750 in St George and St Peter, Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 She married Bertie Greatheed, son of Samuel Greatheed and Lady Mary Bertie, on 31 July 1780 Bertie married his first cousin Anne of Caribbean extraction. He was detained in 1803 in Paris. He secretly married a German girl from the lower classes.2 The Greatheed family were in Paris in 1802-1803, during the Peace of Amiens; Bertie Greatheed, received permission from Napoleon to draw many of the art treasures which had been brought to the Louvre. The Greatheeds journeyed to Italy in 1804, where Bertie Greatheed died. His drawings were returned to his father by Napoleon on learning of the son's death.3,4 Her husband Bertie died on 16 January 1826 in Guy's Cliffe, Warwick, Warwickshire, England, aged 66 Bertie was the nephew of the late Duke of Ancester, through his mother Lady Mary Bertie.5,6 Ann wrote her will on 27 April 1826 leaving everything to Ann Caroline Bertie Percy wife of Hon Charles Bertie Percy.7 Ann died about June 1826.7 Her estate was probated on 15 June 1826 in London before the Judge by the oath of the Honorable Charles Bertie Percy the sole Executor.7

Mary Crooke was baptised on 31 December 1726.2 She was the daughter of Samuel Crooke.2 She married Christopher Greatheed, son of John Greatheed and Frances ....1 Her husband Caister died on 17 February 1780 in Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies, aged 66 Caister was the Commander in Chief and President.1 Mary died on 6 October 1792 in Croydon, Surrey, England, aged 65.2,3 Mary was buried in St Andrew, Landford, Wiltshire, England.4
The will of Mary was proved on 29 January 1793 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. She left property in St Vincent, West Indies.5,6

Samuel Greatheed was born on 2 July 1752 in Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 He was the son of Christopher Greatheed and Mary Crooke.1 He was baptised on 3 May 1753 in St George and St Peter, Basseterre, St Kitts, West Indies.1 He married Mary Wilson on 6 November 1790 in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England, after a licence was issued on 30 October 1790.2,3,4 His wife Mary died on March 1796 in Landford Lodge, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.2,5,6
Samuel took out a licence on 31 July 1797.7 He married Sophia White on 2 August 1797 in St Marylebone, Westminster, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed Bob White and Alice Butler.2,8 Samuel died on 10 July 1829 in Landford Lodge, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, aged 77.9,10,11,12 Samuel was buried on 17 July 1829 in St Andrew, Landford, Wiltshire, England.13,6
The will of Samuel was proved on 17 August 1829.9
