     Charles Jackson was born about 1838 in Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Durham, England.1 He was the son of Benjamin Jackson and Ann Greathead.1 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Barnard Castle, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Benjamin Jackson.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Bank, Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Benjamin Jackson Charles was a scholar.3

     John Jackson was born about 1836 in Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Durham, England.1 He was the son of Benjamin Jackson and Ann Greathead.1 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Barnard Castle, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Benjamin Jackson.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Bank, Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Benjamin Jackson John was an apprentice carrier.3 He married Eliza Whitfield in 1860 in Durham, England.4 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in Bank Street, Barnard Castle, Durham, England, John was a Currier living close to his father.5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Bank Street, Barnard Castle, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Benjamin Jackson John was listed as a Currier and Weslyan Chapel Keeper.6

     Mary ... was born about 1765 in Fossett, Yorkshire, England.1 She married ... Greathead. In the census of 30 March 1851 at Bank, Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Durham, England, she was listed as the mother in law of Benjamin Jackson Mary was formerly a housekeeper and was living with her daughter and son in law and their family.2 Mary died in 1854 in Barnard Castle, Durham, England.3
