     Robert Snowdon was born before 23 April 1837 in Hartlepool, Durham, England. He was the son of Robert Snowdon and Jemima Hay Markwell. Robert died in 1837. He was buried on 10 September 1837 in St Hilda's, Hartlepool, Durham, England, in grave 53, on the grave the inscription reads "Sacred to the memory of Robert Snowden Pilot was drowned in Hartlepool Bay 8 January 1838 aged 35 years and of wife Jemima, his wife who died 26 May 1861 aged 57 years also of Robert and Hannah Snowden who died in infancy, and of son William Snowden, their son who died 4 September 1865. This monument was erected as a token of their affection and esteem by their surviving children. Long will rememberence feel a pang severe and over this grave affection drop a tear."1

William was buried on 7 September 1865 in St Hilda's, Hartlepool, Durham, England.

She married William Walker.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Holy Island, Northumberland, England, she was listed as the wife of William Walker.2 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Holy Island, Northumberland, England, she was listed as the wife of William Walker.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Holy Island, Northumberland, England, she was listed as the wife of William Walker.4

He married Ann Smith in 1864 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.2 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 19 Olive Street, Hartlepool, Durham, England, ohn was a shipswright living with his wife and children.3 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 47 Alliance Street, Hartlepool, Durham, England, John was a Shipwright.4 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 12 Fratton Street, Throston, Durham, England, John was a carpenter living with his wife and children, his brother in law and two boarders.5 John was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 1 Charles Street, Hartlepool, Durham, England, John was a retired shipwright and was living with his wife and three sons.
