Elizabeth Woodward was born in 1854 in Scotton, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of William Greathead and Isabel Woodward. In the census of 2 April 1871 in 41 Hilda Street, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the grandaughter of Elizabeth Woodward.2 She married Robert Merryweather in 1873 in West Hartlepool, Durham, England.1 William and Isabell witnessed after the banns had been read, the wedding ceremony of Robert Porritt and Ann Smith on 19 September 1875 at Christ Church in West Hartlepool.3 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 41 Hilda Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Merryweather.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 20 Thomas Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Merryweather.5 Her husband Robert died on 1892 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.6 She married Patrick Kenny in 1894 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.7 Patrick was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 20 Thomas Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England.8 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 27 Hilda Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Patrick Kenny.9 Her mother Isabel Greathead died on 18 April 1915 Elizabeth registered the authorities of her death and gave her address as 3 Alfred Street, West Hartlepool.10

Patrick Kenny was born about 1861 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England.1 He married Elizabeth Merryweather, daughter of William Greathead and Isabel Woodward, in 1894 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.2 Patrick was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 20 Thomas Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, Patrick was described as a shipyard labourer living with his wife and step children and his invalid Uncle Thomas.3 Patrick was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 27 Hilda Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, Patrick was a ship plate labourer in the shipyard living with his wife, two step sons, grandson John Gibson in their three roomed home. His step daughter Margaret Jackson was visiting them. In their 17 years of marriage they had no children.4

Walter Edward Kelbe was born on 12 September 1871 in England.3 He married B B ... In 1935 Molly was living with her father in Elderot, Kenya while he was acting as a locum for a doctor on leave. The house was up the hill, below St Matthews Church. On 25 April that year Leslie Mounsley, a friend of the family whose father had a farm out Lessos way, came to visit them and introduced the managerof the Kenya Cooperative Creamery (KCC) which had recently been opened. Leslie was an assistant at the factory. It was that day that Molly first met Ken.2

Norman Hugh Goldhawk Huntly was the son of Hugh Campbell Huntly and Maria Louisa Pohl.1 He married Myrtle Holmes Myrtle was previously the governess for Ken, Phyllis and Helen Greathead Norman's nieces and nephew before she married him.1

Ethel Huntly was the daughter of Hugh Campbell Huntly and Maria Louisa Pohl.1 Her sister Helen travelled to be with her in Kenya in 1931 and sadly died three weeks after she arrived.1
