The ceremony was witnessed by Joseph Hedson and Joseph Gell.      Francis Greathead was born about 1760 in Durham, England.1 He was the son of George Greathead.2 He was baptised on 16 March 1760 in Haughton le Skerne, Durham, England, his father is kisted as George.2 He married Isabella Tweddle on 19 July 1814 in St Andrews Church, Haughton le Skerne, Darlington, Durham, England.3,4,5 Francis was listed as the head of the family on the census of 6 June 1841 in Haughton le Skerne, Darlington, Durham, England, Francis was a baker. His daughters Maria and Isabel were living with him and his wife.6 Francis died on 20 April 1848 in Darlington, Durham, England.7,8 The will of Francis was proved on 15 October 1850 in Durham having been written on 1 February 1844.
