     Thomas Emmerson was born about 1863.2 He was the son of James Emmerson.1 He married Margaret Goldsmith, daughter of John William Goldsmith, on 24 March 1886 in Register Office, Sunderland, Durham, England, the ceremony was witnessed by Alice Goldsmith and the mark X of another person whose name I cannot define. Thomas was a painter and gave his address as 11 John Street, Deptford while Margaret resided at 22 Back Crescent Row, also in Deptford.1,3 He was a general labourer in 1901.4 He died before 1937 when his daughter Barbara married Ralph. His occupation was given as a ship riviter.5

     Margaret Goldsmith was born about 1866.2 She was the daughter of John William Goldsmith.3 She married Thomas Emmerson, son of James Emmerson, on 24 March 1886 in Register Office, Sunderland, Durham, England, the ceremony was witnessed by Alice Goldsmith and the mark X of another person whose name I cannot define.      William Claude Percy Pull was born on 25 April 1892 in Aylsham, Norfolk, England.1,3,4 He was the son of John Thomas Pull and Mary Ann Cory.1 He was baptised on 26 July 1893 in Aylsham, Norfolk, England.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, England, he was listed as the son of John Thomas Pull.5 William sailed from Liverpool on 11 May 1907 and lived in Zion City, Illinois for 1.5 years, Morris, Illinois for 9 years and Kenosha, Wisconsin for 4 years. He applied on 28.6.1920 for a certificate of Naturalisation. He was a Mechanic for C.N.S.& M. His witnsses were Fred R and Daisy M Gerrish 54 Right Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.4,6 William was living at 46 Charles Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin when he was drafted into the US Army. He was a car mechanic.7 He married Wilhelmine Theresa Gerrish in USA.2 He also applied for a passport to visit his sister in the UK intending to return within one year. He was to sail on Aquitania on 13 December 1921 from New York. he arrived in Southampton on 25 February 1922.4,8 His Social Security Number was 387-12-1260.9 William died in September 1970 aged 78 his last address was 72830 Clarksville, Johnson, Arkansas.10 William was buried in Oakland Memorial Cemetery, Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas, USA.10

     William Thompson was born about 1817 in Rochdale, Lancashire, England.2 He was the son of John Thompson.3 He married Jane Greathead, daughter of George Greathead and Mary Taylor, on 23 February 1843 in St John's, Manchester, Lancashire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by James Hayle and John Greathead. William was a book keeper, his father John was a sadler. Jane's father George Greathead was a turner.4,5,6,7,8 William was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Barley Street, Farnworth, Lancashire, England, William was a clerk in the pottery.9

     Ellen Holland was born on 18 August 1847 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.2,3 She was the daughter of Robert Holland and Elizabeth Montgomery.4 She married Thomas Greathead, son of John Greathead and Ann Whitworth, on 21 September 1866 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA, The register states that both Thomas aged 29 and Ellen aged 22 were born in England. Ellen's parents were Robert and Elisabeth and Thomas was a blacksmith's helper.5,6,7 In the census of 20 June 1870 in Merrimack, New Hampshire, USA, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.8 In the census of 10 June 1880 in Elliott Street, Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead Ellen was keeping house.9,10 Her husband Thomas died on 17 June 1909 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, aged 71 from accidental drowning. He was described as a retired labourer aged 75 years old.1,2,3 Ellen was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 20 April 1910 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, Ellen had twelve children only seven were alive by 1910.11 Ellen died on 30 May 1914 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, aged 66 from Cerebral hemorrhage aged 66 years 9 months 13 days.2,3 Ellen was buried on 10 June 1914 in St Mary's Cemetery, Needham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA, in plot C lot 225.2

     Mary Ann Ellerton was born about 1815 in Catterick, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Ellerton and Ann Wilson. She married George Craggs in 1839 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England.2 Mary married Thomas Greathead, son of Edward Greathead and Thomasine Ridsdale, on 15 August 1859 in Church of Hipswell, Catterick, Yorkshire, England, the marriage was witnessed by Ambrose Bonner, Mary Gill and Wilson Ellerton. Mary was a widow and signed her name with a X. Her profession was listed as a Grocer and Thomas a labourer.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Bridge Street, Richmond, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.4 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 27 Zetland Street, Holy Trinity, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.5 In the census of 3 April 1881 in The Green, Richmond, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Greathead.6 Her husband Thomas died on 17 March 1891 in Harforth Road, Gilling, Richmond, Yorkshire, England, aged 54.7 Mary was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in The Green, Richmond, Yorkshire, England.8
She died in 1898 in Richmond, Yorkshire, England, Mary Ann was older than her husband Thomas and I guess her true age did not come out until he had died. The 1891 census and on her death GRO index give what I assume is her correct age.9
