     Margaret Greathead was born on 21 January 1907 in Stepney, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead and Susan Amelia Taplin.1,3 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Worcester Court, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead she was at school.4 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 34 Barnardo Street, Stepney, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead.5 She married Robert Albert Baldwin, son of Ernest Albert Baldwin, on 4 August 1929 in St Thomas, Stepney, London, England, The ceremony was witnessed by M Ernest Baldwin and Kathleen Greathead (is this sister Catherine?)6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Margaret was listed as living at 137 Oxlow Lane, Dagenham, Essex, England, with her husband Robert. With their children Blanche and Rose. Robert was a boot and shoe heel attacher.7 Margaret died on 23 July 1972 in Auckland, New Zealand, aged 65 Maggie was described by her daughter as a seamstress and when in England in Dagenham had worked at Hector Powell Tayloring Company.2 Her body was cremated There is a plaque for her on the wall of remembance in Snapper Rock, Albury, Auckland, New Zealand.2

     Kathleen Greathead was born on 5 August 1908 in St George in the East, London, England.2,3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead and Susan Amelia Taplin.2,1 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Worcester Court, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead.5 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 34 Barnardo Street, Stepney, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead.6 She married Edwin Sheard on 4 June 1933 in St Peter and St Paul, Dagenham, Essex, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by R Baldwin and Chrissie Slattery. Kathleen's father was Henry Thomas Greathead and he worked as a carman. No father's name was given for Edwin.7,8 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Kathleen Sheard was listed as living at 54 Church Street, Dagenham, Essex, England, with her parents There are two other people listed. These may have been Kathleen's children.9 A lovely family picture.10 Kathleen died in July 1991 in Brentwood, Essex, England, aged 82.11

     Elizabeth Eleanor Greathead was born on 25 October 1910 in St George in the East, London, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead and Susan Amelia Taplin.1,4 She was baptised on 15 November 1910 in St Mary, Stepney, London, England, she was baptised Lena Elizabeth, her father was a carman and the family lived at 3 Worcester Street.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Worcester Court, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead.6 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 34 Barnardo Street, Stepney, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Henry Greathead.7 She married Cyril Sparrow, son of Frederick Joseph Sparrow and Lillie Taylor Phillips, on 25 December 1932 in St Peter and St Paul, Dagenham, Essex, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Robert Albert Baldwin and Henry Greathead. Cyril was a window cleaner giving 9 Vicarage Road, Dagenham as his adddress. Elizabeth gave 6 Lake Gardens, Dagenham as her address.8,2,9 When their daughter Kathleen was born in 1936 in Charing Cross Hospital their home address was 19 Hearsfield Road, Dagenham, Essex.10 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Elizabeth was listed as living at 81 Church Street, Dagenham, Essex, England, with two other closed records.11 Elizabeth died on 17 October 1980 in Basildon Hospital, Basildon, Essex, England, aged 69 from Caemiana of the lung and ischaemic heart disease. Her usual address was 144 Nether Priors in Basildon.2,12
