Both bride and groom signed with a X. John ws a miner living at Happyland in Durham.5,2 John was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 3 April 1881 in Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, England, John was an agricultural labourer, his father was living with the family but was strangely listed as a lodger.6 John was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, England, John is still described as an agricultural labourer, his father in law is still staying with the family but is now receiving parish relief.7 John was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, England.8 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, England, John a labourer was living with his wife in their four roomed home. They had eleven children, five of whom had died before 1911. I believe John was the fifth child, but I can find no death record for him.9 John died in 1928 in Aylsham, Norfolk, England.10
