Ethel's father George Rogers was an engineer.⁴ He married Mabel Nellie Evans in 1937 in Edmonton, London, England.⁵ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register John was listed as living at 100 Riverway, Southgate, London, England, with his wife Mabel. John was a London postal postman.⁶ John died in 1982 in Enfield, Middlesex, England.⁷

Louis was a mess assistant in the Royal Navy.⁵ Kate died in 1989 in Hampshire, England.⁶

     Minnie Monger Robinson was born on 19 March 1903 in Pancras, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Robinson and Henrietta Ellen Monger. In the census of 2 April 1911 she was listed as the daughter of John Robinson.³ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register she was listed as living at 198 Portland Crescent, Harrow, London, England, with her sister Sidney.⁴ She married Arthur William Benjamin Bates in 1958 in Barnet, Hertfordshire, England.⁵ Minnie died on 7 February 1987 aged 83.
