The ceremony was witnessed by John Henry Fellick and Rose Fellick. Edward, and I believe this to be the same man as born Edwin, gave his occupation as a clerk. In the census of 19 June 1921 in 139 Mellish Street, Poplar, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of Edwin Greathead.³ On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ivy Margaret Greathead was listed as living at 127 Mayesbrook Road, Ilford, Essex, England, with her parents Ivy was a milliner.⁴ She married Stanley Maurice Whitehead on 27 September 1941 in St Margaret, Barking, Essex, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony ws witnessed by Jessie Greathead and Ivy Phylis Whitehead. Stanley was in the RAF and gave his address as 12 Devon Road, Barking. His father was Herbert James Whitehead a postman. Ivy gave her address as 69 Salisbury Avenue in Barking.^5,6 Ivy died in February 2004 in Southend on Sea, Essex, England, aged 84.⁷
