The couple had five children one of whom had died before 1911.7 His wife Frances died on 26 September 1922 in Dudley, Staffordshire, England, aged 61.8,9 Daniel died on 25 April 1926 in 46 Kent Street, Upper Gornal, Dudley, Staffordshire, England.10,11 Administration papers were issued with a will on 27 October 1926 in London to his son Horace Oakley a railway inspector and his daughter Miss Edith May Oakley. His effects were valued at £229.11

Arthur Robert Belton was born on 23 February 1877 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2,3,1 He was the son of Robert Belton. He married Elizabeth Eliza Greathead, daughter of George Greathead and Catherine Sermon, on 19 March 1905 in Christ Church, Sparkbrook, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Thomas Turner and Cora Upton. Arthur was a carter, both Arthur and Elizabeth gave their address as 63 White Road.4,5,6 He married Violet Rose Waldron in 1932 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,7 Violet and Arthur split up around Beryl's third birthday. Arthur and Beryl went to live with his parents in Stratford Pace, Sparkbrook.1 His wife Elizabeth died on 1947 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.8 Arthur died in 1956 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.9
