Harry Bailey was born on 21 July 1890 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Henry J Bailey and Amy Whitehouse Greathead. He was baptised on 10 August 1890 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 114 Hockley Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Henry J Bailey.5 Amy arrived in Liverpool on 24 June 1891 on board Majestic with Eliz Bailey aged 29 and her son listed as an infant Harry aged 1.6 Amy travelled with Harry and Julia on board Indiana sailing from Liverpool on 10 September 1892 sailing to New York, arriving on 3 October 1892.7,8 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 146 Great Kings Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the grandson of Edward Turley Greathead.2 Amy age 33 and her children Harry age 11, Amy age 9, Edward age 6 and infant Gladys age 11 months sailed on board Germanic from Liverpool on 21 August arriving in Ellis Island on 29 August 1901. Harry her husband had preceeded the family arriving on 13 March 1901.1,9,7 He married Angelina Bottinelli on 21 April 1919.3 Harry died on 20 February 1948 aged 57.3 Harry was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, New Jersey, USA.3

Walter Arrowsmith was born on 5 September 1867 in 119 Fearn Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, Walter was the twin of Ellen. Walter was born at a quarter to four pm as recorded on his birth certificate.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Enoch Arrowsmith and Eliza Greenaway.2 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 119 Farm Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Enoch Arrowsmith.5 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Berner Street, 14 Court 1 House, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Enoch Arrowsmith Walter was a scholar.6 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 243 Berner Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the son of Enoch Arrowsmith Water was a coppersmith.7 He married Jane Cartwright Greathead, daughter of Edward Turley Greathead and Mary Jane Whitehouse, on 24 May 1891 in St Silas, Lozells, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Edwin Turley Greathead and Nellie Arrowsmith. Walter was described as a mechanic and lived at Berner Street. Jane gave her address as Carpenter Road. Jane's father's occupation was stated incorrectly I believe as mechanic, he was I am sure a bellows maker.8 Walter was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 at 122 Bubury Street, Aston Manor, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, Walter was a cut ? worker.1,9 Walter was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 138 Lennox ST, Aston, Warwickshire, England, Walter was a cycle assembler living with his wife, who completed the census sheet and three of their children in their six roomed home.10 Walter died in 1934 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2
