In the census of 31 March 1901 in College Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of John Banthorpe.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in College Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of John Banthorpe.6 Albert signed on 17 December 1917 into 12th Ldns. He gave his occupation as a postman and gave his address as College Road, Framlingham. He suffered a slight wound to his right hand.7 He married Mabel Maud Pearce in 1933 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England.2,8 Albert died in 1976 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.9

In the census of 19 June 1921 in 44 Oak Road, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Fred Greathead.3 Eric attended Scarborough High School for boys until around 1932.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Eric Greathead was listed as living at Huntriss Row, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, with his parents Eric was an electrican and radio engineer.5 He married Dorothy Paul in 1947 in All Saints, Falsgrave, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.6,7 Fred owned an electrical shop in Huntress Row in Scarborough, which passed later to his son Eric.4 Eric died on 7 June 1985 in 4 Barmoor Green, Scalby, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, aged 64.8,9 The will of Eric was proved on 22 July 1985 in Leeds.      John George Greathead was born on 29 February 1868 in Little Hutton, Teesdale, Durham, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Greathead and Margaret Bainbridge. In the census of 2 April 1871 in Wycliffe, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas Greathead.3 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Cottage, Offerton, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Francis Campbell John was a scholar.4 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 8 Frank Street, Smethwick, Staffordshire, England, John was a general cartman.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Boldon, South Shields, Durham, England, he was listed as the step son of Francis Campbell John was a platelayer on the NE railways.6 He married Rebecca Marriott, daughter of Jeremiah Marriott and Mary Ann Etherington, on 11 April 1906 in Boldon, South Shields, Durham, England.7,8,9 John was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in East Bolden, South Shields, Durham, England, John and his wife lived in their three roomed home. He was a platelayer. They shared their house with Mary Marriott his mother in law, two sisters in law and four nieces.10 John was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in Front Street, East Boldon, Durham, England, John was a platelayer for NE Railway living with his wife and niece Maggie A Clinton.11 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register John was listed as living at 5 Ashbrook Terrace, Boldon, Durham, England, with his wife Rebecca. And Edward and Sarah Clinton. John was a retired Railway Ganger and Edward a retired chip steward.12 John died in 1941 in Durham, England.13

     Florence Mary Nightingale was born on 19 November 1889 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.1,2,3 She married Fred Greathead, son of John Greathead and Ellen Newton, in 1918 in Bedfordshire, England.4 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 44 Oak Road, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Fred Greathead.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Florence was listed as living at Huntriss Row, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, with her husband Fred. And their son Eric. Both Fred and his father were electricans and radio engineers.6 Her husband Fred died on 21 November 1971 in 13a The Crescent, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, aged 83.7,8 Florence died on 19 March 1976 in Beechwood Rest Home, 12 New Park Crescent, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England, aged 86.9,10 The will of Florence was proved on 28 April 1976 in Leeds. Her effects were valued at £11,517.10
