     Sarah Cranmer was born about 1860 in Tattingstone, Suffolk, England.2 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Framlingham Road, Wilby, Suffolk, England, she was listed as the niece of Isaac Fulcher Sarah was a general servant.3 She married William Banthorpe, son of Thomas Banthorpe and Caroline Fairweather, on 20 October 1882 in Parish Church, Peasenhall, Suffolk, England, Isaac Fulcher and Laura Banthorpe witnessed the ceremony performed after banns had been read. William was described as a labourer. Interestingly Sarah who was described as a spinster gives her father as Wlliam West a stone mason.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Ufford Road, Bromswell, Suffolk, England, she was listed as the wife of William Banthorpe.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Hale Road, Ashbocking, Suffolk, England, she was listed as the wife of William Banthorpe.6 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England, she was listed as the wife of William Banthorpe.7 Sarah died before 1924.
