     Susan Matthews was born in 1947 in New Zealand She was a Maori.1 She married Martin Wilson Greathead, son of Clarence Bright Greathead and Thelma May Preston, in 1967 in New Zealand.1,2 Susan died on 15 September 1980 in Otahuhu, New Zealand, after being hit by a car late one night after returning from the pub. Her death was subject to a coroners inquest in Wellington.1,3,4,5,6 She was buried on 18 September 1980 in Pyes Pa Cemetery, Tauranga, New Zealand, in the family plot 197.1,3,7 Susan did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 12 October 1981 in the High Court of New Zealand, her estate was valued at $7007.97.8,9

     Gwendoline Rose Brindle was born on 6 January 1924.1 She married Raymond Walter Greathead, son of Ernest Frederick Greathead and Mary Toms, in 1972 in New Zealand.1,2 Her husband Raymond died on 19 July 1990 in Levin, New Zealand, aged 75 his wife died only ten days later.1,3,4 Gwendoline died on 29 July 1990 in Otaki, New Zealand, aged 66 Gwendoline's last address was 15 Tahuna Flats, Kirk Street, Otaki.1,3,5 Her body was cremated on 2 August 1990 in Hamilton Park Cemetery, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.3

     Edna Mary Slater was born in 1917 in Dungog, New South Wales, Australia.1 She married Gerald Arthur Greathead, son of Ernest Frederick Greathead and Mary Toms, in 1940 Gerald and Edna adopted several children.1,2 Edna died on 13 June 1983 in Waihi Hospital, Waihi, New Zealand, The following appeared in the New Zealand Herald - On June 13 1983 at Waihi Hospital dearly beloved wife of Gerry of 58 Kenny St Waihi and loved mother and mother-in-law of Alan and Tina (Palmerston North) Bev and Murray Kaonga (Waihi) loved nana of Clinton and Jackie, Lorraine, Josef, Angela and Geraldine. A service will be held at St John’s Anglican Church Waihi 2.30pm tomorrow (Thur) Funeral then leaving for the Waihi Lawn Cemetery. Another entry read at the Waihi Hospital loved aunty of Ron and Edna Burling and family Kaiaua RIP.1,3,4,5 Edna was buried on 16 June 1983 in Waihi Cemetery, Waihi, New Zealand, in D02.01 semi lawn section, Section H Lot 26.6,7
