Robert George Sutton1

     Robert George Sutton was born on 19 June 1889.1 He was the son of Samual Thomas Sutton and Polly Chatting. He married Lilly Farewell, daughter of John Farewell and Elizabeth Noakes, in 1916 in West Ham, Essex, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Robert was listed as living at 393 Halley Road, East Ham, Essex, England, with his wife Lilly. Robert was a house and ship plumber living with his wife, mother in law and sister in law.3 Robert died on 22 August 1952 aged 63.1

Lilly Farewell1

     Lilly Farewell was born on 23 August 1891.1 She was the daughter of John Farewell and Elizabeth Noakes. She married Robert George Sutton, son of Samual Thomas Sutton and Polly Chatting, in 1916 in West Ham, Essex, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Lilly was listed as living at 393 Halley Road, East Ham, Essex, England, with her husband Robert. Robert was a house and ship plumber living with his wife, mother in law and sister in law.3 Lilly died in June 1978 aged 86.1

She married Frederick H Peake in 1939 in East Ham, Essex, England.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register she was listed as living at 393 Halley Road, East Ham, Essex, England, with her brother in law Robert Nellie was an unemployed telephonist just married.4
