     John Leslie Tunley was born on 20 December 1908 in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.2,3 He was the son of William Baker Tunley and Florence Mary Carter.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in The Manse, Broxton, Chester, Cheshire, England, he was listed as the son of William Baker Tunley.4 He married Margaret Paterson in September 1937.1,2 John was described as an John Leslie Tunley a chemist and optician when he received probate with his Mother on his father's will on 18 August 1939.5 John died on 26 May 1965 in Wirral, Cheshire, England, aged 56.2,6

     Elizabeth Seaman was born about 1829 in Whitechapel, London, England.2 She was the daughter of George Seaman and Johanna Bernett. She married John Greathead, son of John Greathead and Sarah Hyenday, in 1852 in Dartford, Kent, England.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 46 Lodging House, Crown of Seven Lense Bath House, Tower Hamlets, London, England, she was listed as the wife of John Greathead.4 Her husband John died on 25 September 1867 in St George in the East, London, England.5,6 Elizabeth was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 2 April 1871 in 14 Langdale Street Court, St George in the East, London, England, Elizabeth was a charwoman.7 Elizabeth gave her address as 38 Lower Keele Street when she was admitted into Raine Street Workhouse on 16 May 1872 at 7:05pm suffering from an ulcerated leg. She was listed as a Prostitute and widow of John Greathead a P Constable. She was discharged on 25 June 1872.8 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Workhouse Infirmary, Princes Street, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as an inmate and worked as a needlewoman.9 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Workhouse Infirmary, Princes Street, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as an inmate.10 Elizabeth was buried on 20 March 1894 in Bradford Cemetery, Stepney, London, England.11 Elizabeth died on 20 September 1894 in Saint George in the East Infirmary: Register of deaths, St George in the East, London, England, Her body was released for a private burial.12,13
