He was boarding with his future wife and mother in law.3 He married Lilian Greathead, daughter of William George Greathead and Georgina Probin, on 25 December 1921 in St George, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by George Brown and Maud Greathead. Thomas was a coal carter and Lilian a polisher.4,5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Thomas was listed as living at 39 Kimble Grove, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, with his wife Lilian. Thomas was listed as a motor driver living with hisw wife and children.6 In 1950 Frank and Lilian Baxter (née Worrallo) were living with Lilian's parents William and Thomas Worrallo at 39 Kimble Grove in Erdington. In the census of 5 April 1891 in 37 Endive Street, Limehouse, London, England, he was listed as the son of Charles Henry White.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 85 High Street, Wapping, London, England, he was listed as the brother of Alice S White Sidney was a lighterman.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 40 Sussex Street, Poplar, London, England, he was listed as the boarder of Henry Greathead Sidney was a lighterman and later that year married Henry's daughter Catherine.5 He married Catherine Greathead, daughter of Henry Greathead and Margaret Skipp, on 22 July 1911 in Poplar, London, England, Witnessed by M Greathead and M Milchard. Sidney Charles White was born on 15 February 1913 in 40 Sussex Street, Poplar, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Sidney White and Catherine Greathead. After Catherine died, the family was split up and the children, Edith was placed in a chldren's home, it is unsure what happened at this time to Lilian and Sidney.3 . Sidney was taught to swim by being thrown off Limehouse Pier by his father! He met a surgeon named John McNeil Love, who sponsored him and gave him a way out of his East End slums. At some point he became known as James or Jimmy and this was certainly the name that he used when working, although on official documents, except for his death certificate, he is named as Sidney Charles. He cut off all ties with his East End family.1 . He married Mary Mabel Saxon, daughter of William Ernest Saxon and Mary Hannah Senior, in 1937 in Abbeydale, Yorkshire, England, Mabel was Sidney's first wife.1,4 Sidney and Mary were divorced. He married Margaret Joyce Whitworth in 1958 in Westminster Register Office, Westminster, London, England, Margaret was James second wife. He was a commercial artist.1,5 Sidney died on 30 July 1977 in Herts and Essex General Hospital, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England, aged 64 from Cancer of the bladder.1,6

They lost everything and fled to London to visit Elizabeth's sister Maggie. They then set up home in Dorking.9 Margaret died in November 1993 in Tower Hamlets, London, England, aged 95.10

This Christmas day ceremony was witnessed by WJ and S Taplin. Susan a cloth tester signed her name with a X and gave her address as 130 Red Lion Street. Henry was a carman and gave his address as 46 Pennington Street.12,13,14 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 3 Worcester Court, St George in the East, London, England, Henry was a carman on the railway company living with his wife and children in their four roomed home.15 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 34 Barnardo Street, Stepney, London, England, Thomas was a motor driver for Lonon North West Railway at Broad Street in the City. He was living with his wife and their four daughters.16 He was a motor driver on 25 December 1926.17 He witnessed the marriage of William Walter West and Ellen Greathead on 25 December 1926 in St Thomas, Stepney, London, England.18,19 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Thomas was listed as living at 54 Church Street, Dagenham, Essex, England, with his wife Susan. And their daughter Kathleen, together with two other people listed. His address was listed as 43 Chapman Street in Tower Hamlets.7 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 13 Middle, Shadwell, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead Charles was a scholar.8,9 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 146 Pennington Street, St George in the East, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead Charles was a railway porter messenger.10 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 40 Sussex Street, Poplar, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead Charles was a carman for a railway company.11 He married Susannah Insole, daughter of Henry Insole, on 19 December 1915 in St Peter, London Docks, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Henry Insole and Elizabeth A Greathead. Charles was a driver in the RFA stationed at Farnborough. His address was given as 43 Upper Chapman Street in Tower Hamlets.5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 13 Middle, Shadwell, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead.6,7 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 146 Pennington Street, St George in the East, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead Edwin was an office boy.8 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 40 Sussex Street, Poplar, London, England, he was listed as the son of Henry Greathead Edwin was a clerk in the warehouse.9 He married Jessie Matilda Mary Fellick, daughter of John Henry Fellick, on 26 December 1914 in St Lukes, Millwall, London, England, after the banns were read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Henry Fellick and Rose Fellick. Edward, and I believe this to be the same man as born Edwin, gave his occupation as a clerk. His occupation was listed as a warehouse foreman. His height was five foot four and a half inches tall with a chest measurement of 33 inches. His wife Jessie was listed as moving from the Mellish Road address to Park Place, Tarrant Street, Arundel, Sussex. He is later described as having brown hair, pale complexion and grey eyes and weighing 102 lbs. Private 393211 joined the Buffs on 22 September 1919.12 Edwin was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 139 Mellish Street, Poplar, London, England, Edward was was a raw material receiving foreman for C &E Morton Ltd West Ferry Road in Millwall. They dealt with jam and grocer's sundries. He was living with his wife and two children.13 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Edwin was listed as living at 127 Mayesbrook Road, Ilford, Essex, England, with his wife Jessie. With their daughter Ivy. Edwin was a provision warehouseman.14 Edwin died in 1963 in Romford, Essex, England.15

Agnes Caroline Greathead was born on 25 September 1900 in St George in the East, London, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of George Christopher Greathead and Louisa M Steel. In the census of 31 March 1901 in 3 Sheriden Street, St George in the East, London, England, she was listed as the daughter of George Christopher Greathead.4 Agnes was admitted to Ricardo Street School in Tower Hamlets on 21 September 1903. She left on 11 October 1903. Her address was 10 Buxton Terrace, Cottage Street.3 On 14 October 1903 Agnes was admitted to Cotton Street School in Tower Hamlets. She was removed on 9 July 1904.5 An unknown person was listed as patient in the census of 19 June 1921 56 Lower and Dean Street, Whaitechapel, London, England, she was listed as a printer at no fixed place. A further address was listed 2729 Brick Lane, Whitechapel. I believe she was perhaps in hospital.6 She married Carmelo Formosa in 1936 in Stepney, London, England, They had no children.7,8 Her husband Carmelo died on 10 February 1941 at sea as a merchant seaman aboard SS Courland (Leith) He was a fireman and trimmer and his death is commemorated on the Tower Hill memorial panel 32.8,9 Agnes died in 1952 in Aldgate, London, England, from a brain haemorrhage. As she had been "found" dead in her tiny flat an autopsy was performed.10,8

John gave his address as 15 Susannah Street and was as steward. Caroline gave her address as 13 Howard Street was a printer. They had one son and four daughters.9,3

John Ernest Bore was born on 28 November 1895 his father was a dock foreman.1 He was the son of Frederick Bore.2 John's father obtained a berth on the last sailing ship going out of London dock for his restless son, when he was about 15/16 years old. He carried on going to sea until the outbreak of WW1 when he joined the Royal Ineskillen Fusiliers and was taken prisoner in France. He spent the rest of the war working in Germany on a farm
After the war he went back to sea on cruise liners working as a wine waiter until his marriage.1 He married Caroline Margaret Greathead, daughter of George Christopher Greathead and Louisa M Steel, on 25 July 1925 in All Saints, Poplar, London, England, The ceremony was witnessed by George Alfred Greathead and Ellen Elizabeth Greathead after the banns were read. John gave his address as 15 Susannah Street and was as steward. Caroline gave her address as 13 Howard Street was a printer. They had one son and four daughters.3,1
After his marriage John spent many years until 1938 when he joined a dock firm of coppersmiths where he stayed until his retirement. He worked on the mulberry harbours during WWII and had many narrow escapes during the blitz, as the docks were always the target He later worked as a warehouseman in the bakeries.1,4 John died in 1967 in Poplar, London, England.1,5
