Eleanor Milburn Bulmer

     Eleanor Milburn Bulmer was born in 1860 in Stokesley, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Jeffrey Bulmer. She married Richard Walker Greathead, son of Francis Greathead and Dorothy Eliza Walker, on 13 September 1881 in Holy Trinity, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by George Bulmer Thompson and Mary Bobins. Eleanor was living at Thornton House, Cargo Fleet.2 Eleanor died in September 1882 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.3 Eleanor was buried on 25 September 1882 in St Helen’s, Eston, Yorkshire, England, in plot 419.4,5 The gravestone includes Frank and Dorothy and their son Richard and his wife Eleanor.

Caroline Matilda Jordon

     Caroline Matilda Jordon was born on 27 November 1892 in Hackney, London, England.1,2,3 She married Charles Albert Alexander Greathead, son of Charles Albert James Greathead and Mary Ann Rushby Bolton, in 1919 in West Ham, London, England.4 Charles and Caroline were social people. Charles was it is believed an aide to the Viceroy of India. Their son Stanley was raised for much of his childhood in India, and at one stage was unable to speak English, only Urdu. A direct consequence of being bought up by Nannys with very little parental input. Stanley was packed off to boarding school in England. There as an only child and having little support from his parents he was forced to make his own roads in life which he did, some it is believed to be quite hair raising and some pretty mundane.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Caroline was listed as living at 24 The Meadway, Chigwell, Essex, England, with her husband Charles. And their son Stanley. Charles was a Printing Manager and on Executive staff of newspaper.3 Her husband Charles died on 18 March 1945 in Connaught Hospital, Walthamstow, London, England, aged 46 His usual address was 24 The Meadway, Buckhust Hill, Essex.6,7 Caroline received Probate on her husband's effects on 28 June 1945 in Llandudno.7 Caroline died in 1966 in Havering, London, England.8

Mabel died in 1873 in Islington, London, England.2 Mabel was buried on 27 August 1873 in Islington Cemetery, Islington, London, England, aged only one year. Her usual address was Maybelle Street, Islington.3

     Beatrice May Beebe was born on 25 August 1903.2 She married Frederick G Taylor in 1924 in Edmonton, London, England, This was Beatrice's first marriage, she is recorded on the GRO index as May Beebe.1,3 She married Edward George Banthorp, son of Samuel Banthorp and Lizza Barton, in 1951 in Wood Green, London, England, This was Beatrice's second marriage, she was a divorcee with one daughter and two sons. She had a sister called Kathleen.1,4 Her husband Edward died on 21 January 1973 in Highlands Hospital, Southgate, London, England, aged 70.1,5 Beatrice died on 1 March 1973 in Harringay, London, England, aged 69.1,6
