Hugh Campbell Huntly
     Hugh Campbell Huntly was born in January 1849.2 He was a farmer from a farm called "Carl's Rust", just west of Grahamstown.2 He married Maria Louisa Pohl on 25 January 1872.2 Hugh died on 25 July 1911 in Amatole Hotel, Alice, District of East Victoria, South Africa, aged 62.2

In the census of 6 June 1841 in Ellerton, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Catherine Blenkhorn.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Ellerton Abbey, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Catherine Blenkhorn.3 She married William Brown in 1855.4,5 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Reeth, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Catherine Blenkhorn She was living on her own means and is listed as married.6 Elizabeth died in 1898 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, England.7

     Francis Blenkhorn was baptised on 3 November 1833 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Adam Blenkhorn and Catherine Greathead. In the census of 6 June 1841 in Ellerton, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Catherine Blenkhorn.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Reeth, Richmond, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the nephew of Ruth Greathead Francis was a Commercial clerk.4 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Reeth, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Catherine Blenkhorn.5 Francis died in 1889 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.6 Francis was buried on 25 June 1889 in St Michael and All Angels, Downholme, Yorkshire, England, He was mentioned on the headstone of his parents.6,7 The headstone above Adam and Catherine's grave states that their son Francis was also buried there. Their son Adam who died in Australia and interred at Daylesford, Victoria is also mentioned on the headstone.7,8

     Mary Ann Barratt was born about 1867 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1 She married William Alfred Greathead, son of Alfred Henry Greathead and Elizabeth Mapp, in 1889 in Kings Norton, Warwickshire, England.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 255 Summer Lane, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of William Alfred Greathead.3 Her husband William died on 1904 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.4 Mary was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Kenedon Place, Birchfield Road, Handsworth, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, Mary was working as a Warehouse woman in the brassfoundry. Arthur Spence aged 29 was boarding with her, he was a yeast salesman.5 Mary was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 1 Bk 166, Darwin Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, Mary was a Manager of an Undertakers, W H Painter. She had a boarder living with her Arthur Sopencer a single man aged 41 who was apacker at a jewellers.6 Mary died in 1938 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.7 Mary was buried in October 1938 in Handsworth Cemetery, Handsworth, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.8
