     Agnes Mabel Scragg was born on 27 June 1894.1 She was the daughter of William Scragg.2 She married Alfred Thomas Greathead, son of Thomas Paul Greathead and Leah Waite, on 5 September 1915 in St Clement, Longsight, Manchester, Lancashire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Samuel Manchester and Jessie Cowe. Alfred was a fitter and gave his address as 79 Stanley Grove. Agnes lived at 145 Earl Street.3,4,5,6 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 78 Albert Drive, Longsight, Manchester, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the wife of Alfred Thomas Greathead.7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Agnes was listed as living at 9 Swayfield Avenue, Manchester, Lancashire, England, with her husband Alfred. And their daughter Gladys. Alfred was a low fitter.8 Agnes died in 1944 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.9 Agnes was buried on 14 November 1944 in Southern Cemetery, Manchester, Lancashire, England, in grave F Non Conformist number 1128 with someone called William Scragg who was not her father but had been buried on 30 October 1886.10

     Thomas William Lamplough was born on 14 May 1911 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas William Lamplough and Selina Welford. He married Eleamia Greathead, daughter of John Greathead and Eleamia Sarah Tabley, on 30 October 1937 in St Aidens Church, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, the ceremony was witnessed by George Lamplough and Hilda May Wren. Eleamia gave her address as 21 Rossall St, Hartlepool,
Thomas gave 11 Pattindale St, Hartlepool and was working as a cartman.3,4 He witnessed the probate of the estate of John Lamplough on 24 January 1963.5 Thomas died on 28 July 1993 in Hartlepool, Durham, England, aged 82 The Hartlepool Mail stated that on July 28, peacefully at home in his sleep, Thomas William, aged 82 years, devoted husband of Elcamia, much loved and cherished father of Kevin, also devoted father in law of Joy and precious grandad of Tracy. Cortege to leave his son's residence, Commondale Drive, Seaton Carew, Friday, for service at the parish church of Holy Trinity, Seaton Carew, at 9-30am, prior to interment at Stranton Grange cemetery. friends and neighbours are kindly invited, please meet at the church. Resting at Mason and Martin funeral home, Park Road. - "a true gentleman".6,7,8 Thomas was buried on 30 July 1993 in Stranton Grange Cemetary, Tanfield Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England.8

He married Eliza Greathead, daughter of Peter Greathead and Eliza Maughan, on 17 July 1913 in Register Office, Hartlepool, Durham, England, the ceremony was witnessed by his brother John and sister in law Eleamia. Bertie lived at 36 Reed St, West Hartlepool and was a snipper at the metal expansion works.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Bertie was listed as living at 36 Hilda Street, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, with his wife Eliza. Bertie was a de tinning process labourer.2

In the census of 2 April 1911 in 2 Bedford Street, Mills Platting, Manchester, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the daughter of George Shuker Clara was at school.6 She was a midwife, she had been looking after Edith, who asked her to look after her young family.7 She married Thomas Henry Greathead, son of Edwin Greathead and Margaret Moran, on 20 March 1934 in St Mary's Church, Oldham Road, Failsworth, Manchester, Lancashire, England, Clara was Thomas' second wife. Their marriage certificate says Thomas a widower. The ceremony was witnessed by John S Boardman and Teresa Greathead. Henry gave his address as 280 Oldham Road, Failsworth while Clara gave 385 Oldham Road, Newton Heath, they moved to Mostan.8,2,7 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Clara was listed as living at 169 Lightbourne Road, Manchester, Lancashire, England, with her husband Thomas. Their daughter Edith and her future husband, daughter Clara and one other. Thomas was a registered dentist.5 Her husband Thomas died on 6 January 1955 in 169 Lightbourne Road, Moston, Manchester, Lancashire, England, aged 76 from Cerebral Thrombosis. He was a dentist and his daughter Clara registered his death.9 Clara died on 8 February 1975 in 5 Crown Point Avenue, Manchester, Lancashire, England, aged 72 from a stroke.7,10 Clara was buried in Droylsden cemetery, Droylsden, Lancashire, England.7

     Warren B Greathead was born on 11 November 1931 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA.1,2,3 He was the son of John Archer Greathead and Florence Barron Kydd. He married Frieda Lindquist. In the census of 1 April 1940 in 27 Penn Avenue, Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, he was listed as the son of John Archer Greathead.4 He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1949. He received a bachelors degree in animal husbandry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Austria, during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed for 15 years as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service at the Middlesex/Essex General Mail Facility in Reading. Earlier in his life, he, along with his mother Florence, owned and operated Nickels Dairy on Boston Rd. in Lowell before its closing in 1978. Warren was an avid fan of his beloved Boston Red Sox, as well as the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed gardening.5,6 Warren died on 23 January 2009 in Saints Medical Centre, Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, aged 77 He died from Cancer and was survived by two sons, Warren J. of Methuen and William B. of Lowell; and five grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua, Nicole, Erin, and Jacob Greathead.2,3,5 Warren was buried on 28 January 2009 in Edson Cemetery, Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, after a funeral service at Dracut Funeral Home.2,7

     Dr Victor Emmanuel Wilson Stubbings was the son of Frederick John Stubbings.2 He was a medical Doctor. He married Mary Florence Greathead, daughter of Eugene Charles Greathead C E and Elizabeth Sophia Worville, on 4 October 1919 in St Luke, West Norwood, London, England, after the banns had been read on 27 July, 3 and 10 August . The ceremony was witnessed by E Greathead and A McMurray. Both Mary and Victor gave Silverdale, Knights Hill as their address. Victor was a motor engineer.3,2 His wife Mary died on 26 February 1937 in Weston on the Green, Oxfordshire, England, aged 62 Obituary notice reads Death of Mrs V E Stubbings on Friday with Rev H S Johns officiating at the Funeral on Monday. She had no children.1 Victor died on 31 August 1963 in 66 Banbury Road, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, England.4,5 The will of Victor was proved on 18 December 1963 in Peterborough to Lily Rosie Brewell wife of Burton Brand Brewell. His effects were valued at £2759 7s0d.5
