     Edith Woolley was born on 3 March 1883.1 She was the daughter of William Woolley. She married George Edwin Greathead, son of Francis Rice Greathead and Sarah Ann Bush, on 22 May 1905 in St Luke, Dykers Hill, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Witnessed by Herbert Hobson Rutter and Jane Rutter by banns.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 187 Granville Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Edwin Greathead.3 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 43 Chester Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as a lodger George, Edith and their son Cyril were temporary lodgers of Charles and Frances Brown. George was a railway porter working for the Midland Railway Company at Midland Station in Sheffield while Cyril was listed as out of work but used to work for Brown Bayley Ltd in Lucas Road in Sheffield.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Edith was listed as living at 17 Strawberry Avenue, Wortley, Yorkshire, England, with her husband George. George was a railway signalman and ARP warden living with his wife.5 Edith died in 1952 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.6

Marie Greathead néé Close late Heron
     Marie Close was born on 20 September 1938 in Hartlepool, Durham, England, her mother's maiden name was Gardner.1,2 She married John Heron in 1963 in West Hartlepool, Durham, England.3 She married Jack Greathead, son of John Greathead and Elsie Moody, on 18 December 1981 in Durham, England.1,4 Marie died on 2 September 2019 in Hartlepool, Durham, England, aged 80 suddenly in hospital. She was described as 'dearly loved wife of Jack,
step mam of Tony, Trevor and the late Suzanne, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother.5,6' Her body was cremated after a requiem mass in The Roman Catholic Church of St Joseph, Hutton Avenue on 12 September 2019 in Stranton Grange Crematorium Tanfield Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England.5

     Kathleen Greathead was born on 15 January 1940 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.1,2 She was the daughter of John Greathead and Elsie Moody. She married James Bruce Moore in 1963 in Register Office, West Hartlepool, Durham, England.3 Kathleen and her brother Jack were grantees to their father John's will.4 Her husband James died on 14 November 2009 His death appeared in Hartlepool Mail on 18 November 2009.5
