     Alice Greathead was baptised on 4 July 1760 in Hipswell, Yorkshire, England.2,1 She was the daughter of Paul Greathead and Ann ...2 She married George Gallantry on 28 April 1799 in St Patrick, Patrick Brompton, Yorkshire, England.3 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Thrintoft, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of George Gallantry.4 Her husband George died on 1846.3 Alice was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Thrintoft, Yorkshire, England, Alice was a widow and proprietor of houses.5 Alice died in 1851.6 Alice was buried on 15 December 1851 in St Helen, Ainderby Steeple, Yorkshire, England.6

He married Ethel Fanny Long on 19 July 1892 in Droxford, Hampshire, England.1,2,4 Arthur was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Mill House, The Chase, Bishop Waltham, Hampshire, England, Arthur was the principal clerk and taxing officer of private bills for the House of Lords and landowners living with his wife and son in their 14 roomed home. The household included a governess and three domestic servants.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Arthur was listed as living at Mill House, The Chase, Droxford, Hampshire, England, with his wife Ethel. Arthur was a retired civil servant who worked in the House of Lords living with his wife and servants.6 Arthur died in 1939 in Droxford, Hampshire, England.1,2,7

     Dorian Stratford Robinson was born on 18 September 1913 in Liskeard, Cornwall, England.1,2,3 He was the son of Stratford Watson Robinson and Doris Ethel Mackinnon. In the Autumn of 1926 Dorain started at Wellington College in Berkshire, he left in 1931. Later he went to Nancy University in France and then Bonn in Germany.3 In 1933 he joined Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) as a clerk in their Head Office and then various provincial offices leaving in 1939. He joined the Territorial Army in the Royal Artillery spending three years at Woolwich and then a period at Larkhill.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Dorian Stratford Robinson was listed as living at The Mill House, Guildford, Surrey, England, with his parents Dorian was a commercial clerk.4 In 1940 he spent a few months with London County Council on public assistance duties and entred the Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery. He was posted out to India, travelling on the troopship the Duchess of Atholl.3 While his unit was being oved to Burma he was wounded by being crushed between two lorries while sorting out a fight between two Indian lorry drivers and landed in hospital. He convalesced n Darjeeling in February 1943. He was awarded the Territorial Decoration amongst others.3 He was promoted to Captain, served in Germany and was possibly an interpreter at the Nuremberg War Trials, being demobilised in 1947.3 In 1948 he started with the Central Office of Information based in London and between 1949-52 was involved in the Festival of Britain and the South Bank construction work while living at 8 Cranley Gardens in London SW7.3 In 1952 he started with the Crown Agents in London, involved in shipping and translatiions in French and German. In 1963 he moved to the Ministry of Overseas Development in Victoria SW1 being involved in recruitment for overseas posts, financial estimates, establishment work on personel files, some parliamentary questions and initiating the transfer of staff details to computer.3 He retired in September 1975 he was living in a flat at 39 Westmoreland Terrace, London SW29.3 After he retired he continued working part time in an Estate Agent looking after the accounts, in charge of the ledgers, banking of money, the preparation of expenditure reports, payment of invoices, and other general duties, finishing in 1979, due to to an accident, so had to have four months off.

In 1980 he started with Alta Holidays, London, SW1, in charge of Airline Account, preparing cheques for British Airways, and bank reconciliations. He also took on Voluntary work, serving on the Senior Committee of the British Legion, Kensington and Chelsea Branch, and also with the Royal National Institute for the Blind, as an escort, and also with newpaper cassettes for the Blind, this connection also taking him to Moorfields Eye Hospital as part of the "talking books in wards" programme. He also helped in Westminster Hospital as a receptionist in the Outpatients Department and in the Westminster Support for Disabled, as well as receptionist at Westminster Hospital, as well as assisting the police to comfort people who had been attacked, in the Telephone Contacts - Fulham and Westminster Victim Support Scheme.

In 1986 he moved to Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square, London EC1M, keeping on many of his voluntary jobs, and also assisting as Guardian at the Treasury of Westminster Abbey, and assisting with Age Concern at Islington.3 Dorian died suddenly on 6 May 1990 in London, England, aged 76.1,3,5
