In the census of 7 April 1861 in Ingleton, Teesdale, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Huitson Isabella was a scholar.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Ingleton, Durham, England, she was listed as the grandaughter of John Greathead.4 She married Frederick Abbley, son of William Abbley, on 8 March 1890 in The Centenary Chapel, Weslyan Methodist, York, Yorkshire, England, The ceremony took place following a certificate being issued and was witnessed by James Cook and Marg Cook.

Frederick was a widower and confectioner living at 2 Lime Street, York. Isabella had not previously been married and gave her address as 2 Parliament Street, York.5,6,2 She married Edward Tolley Sefton, son of Edward George Sefton, on 8 November 1898 in Parish Church of S Sampson, York, Yorkshire, England, The marriage took place after banns were read, and was witnessed by John Richard Smith and Mary Patrick Huitson.

Both Edward and Isabella had been widowed. Edward gave his occupation as a plasterer and his address as Back Swinegate. Isabella gave her address as Finkle Street.6

     Mary was the third daughter of the late C R Playter of Demerara and Lewisham, Kent as reported in the newspaper article of their marriage.2 Mary Playter married John Greathead, son of Francis Greathead and Margaret Thompson, on 10 June 1882 in St Philip's, Georgetown, British Guiana, by Rev H T S Castell the Incumbant and was assisted by Rev G Salmon B A. John was listed as Superintendent of the Mahaica Circuit, Wesleyan Mission, British Guiana.1,2,3 Rev John and Mary applied for passports on 9 July 1884.4

     Hannah Harper was born in 1862 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England.1,3 She was the daughter of Christopher Harper and Esther Naylor.
