Arthur was a labourer and his son a bootmaker and Esther and her daughter had home duties.10 Arthur died on 16 January 1929 in Collingwood, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, aged 58.6,11,12,9 Arthur was buried on 18 January 1929 in Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery, Coburg, Victoria, Australia, after a funeral service. His remains are located in the same plot 872 as his wife.13

Paul used to love collecting coal falling from the coal wagons that went up the hill close to where they lived on Scotforth in Lancaster, One day Paul was on his bike and was behind the coal wagon when the driver either backed up or the wagon rolled backwards crushing Paul and killing him.1,4,5

He was listed as a farm labourer, did she not know he was a cordwainer by trade or maybe he changed it in later life.11

Joseph, a bachelor was described as a tailor, like his father John, who died before his marriage.
