     Sarah Greathead was born about 1813 in Tanworth, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of William Greathead and Anne Chinn. She married William Green on 26 February 1838 in St Peter and Paul, Aston, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by William Whitehouse who signed with his mark and Mary Farmer. Both William and Sarah signed with their mark. William was a labourer like his father and gave his address as 19 High Street Deritend. Sarah gave her address as 7 High Street Deritend. Her father William was a blacksmith.1,2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Tanworth, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Greathead.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Tanworth, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of William Green.4

Alexander Brewis Levie1

     Alexander Brewis Levie was born on 11 February 1909 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Joseph Pole Levie and Jessie Watt Brewis. He married Gwenneth Elizabeth Hind, daughter of Thomas Arthur Ormesby Hind and Ada Ann Storry, on 26 December 1934 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, They met through Gwenneth's sister in Sleights in North Yorkshire while both families were on holiday.1,3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register he was listed as living at 12 Kingston Avenue, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, with his father in law Thomas Alexander was a dental surgeon, his wife Gwenneth was in Whitby.4 He died on 9 May 1985 in Torquay, Devon, England, aged 76 whilst on holiday.1

     Gwenneth Elizabeth Hind was born on 29 June 1912 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Arthur Ormesby Hind and Ada Ann Storry. She married Alexander Brewis Levie, son of Thomas Joseph Pole Levie and Jessie Watt Brewis, on 26 December 1934 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, They met through Gwenneth's sister in Sleights in North Yorkshire while both families were on holiday.1,3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Gwenneth was listed as living at Bracadale, Whitby, Yorkshire, England, her husband Alexander was with her parents. She had Harry and Maud Joplin living with her.4 Gwenneth died on 14 December 1967 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, aged 55.1

     Thomas Joseph Pole Levie was born about 1873 in Shetland Isles.2 He married Jessie Watt Brewis, daughter of John Brewis and Mary Heslop Watt, in 1900 in Thirsk, Yorkshire, England.3 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 18 Mitchell Street, Hartlepool, Durham, England, Thomas was a chemist and druggist. he lived with his wife and three month old son William. They had a domestic servant age 20 called Agnes J White.4 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 21 Stanhope Avenue, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, Thomas was a chemist and druggist living with his wife and three children in their eight roomed home with a monthly nurse and one servant.5 Thomas died in 1954 in West Hartlepool, Durham, England.1,6
