     Ann Newport was born about 1810 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. She married Henry John Cantrill on 19 May 1827 in St Paul, Liverpool, Lancashire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Joseph Tonkinson and George Newport. Henry was a book keeper.1

In the census of 19 June 1921 in 104 Queens Road, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the niece of Harry Greathead.2 She married Leslie R Packer in 1941 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.3 Vera died on 16 May 2008 in Birmingham, Warwickshire.4

Albert Percy Blower

     Albert Percy Blower was born on 20 December 1891 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1 He married Louisa Emily Blakeman, daughter of Harry Blakeman and Ellen Manton, on 17 April 1920 in St Peter and St Paul, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Harry Blakeman and Ansole Amelia Blakeman. Albert was a machinist, his father Samuel Blower was a labourer. Louisa's father Harry Blakeman was a coach painter. Both gave their address as 104 Queens Road.2 In the census of 19 June 1921 in 104 Queens Road, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the brother in law of Harry Greathead Albert worked as a rubber worker at the Dunlop Rubber Company at Fort Dunlop.3 Albert died in 1973 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.4

He married Annie Wilson in 1889 in Aston, Warwickshire, England.1 Alfred was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in 15 Adelaide Terrace, Erskine Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, Alfred was living with his wife and children with a boarder Maud Greathead who later married their son Alfred. He was a labourer at the metal works, Pitney Rolling Mills, Pitney Street, Vauxhall. He had been out of work for three months.2
