He donated £1,00 towards the building fund for the Teddington Hospital, a two ward cottage hospital. The hospital was still in existance in 2020, one ward is called Grace Anderson Ward.9 His wife Mary died on 8 December 1926 in The Firs, Horsham Road, Uckfield, Sussex, England.10,11 He witnessed the probate of the estate of Mary Anderson on 20 January 1927.10
