The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Price and John Noble. Horatio was described as Esquire and his father Mark Henry Gregory a Gentleman as was Emma's father Charles.4,5 Horatio was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Wax Chandlers Hall, Gresham Street, St John Zachery, London, England, Horatio was a Proctor and Solicitor living with his wife and three children.
