Brock Greathead was born on 31 March 1951 in Canada.1,2 He was the son of Barry Greathead and Virginia Parker.1 He married Beverley Helgason on 10 March 1984 in Canada.1,2 Brock died on 15 February 2014 in Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada, aged 62 Brock was described as the dear husband of Beverly of Grand Forks, B.C. Loving father of Paula and her husband Shaun Hierlihy of Port Elgin, Elizabeth and her husband Scott Campbell of Port Elgin, and step daughter Margo Cullen of Prince Rupert, B.C. Proud grandfather of Madison, Seth and Ethan Campbell. Survived by his mother Virginia, by his sisters Johanna (Gord Button) Jane (Tom Chisholm) and Jennifer (Paul Eagleson) and by his nephews Todd, Adam, Ryan, Philip and Peter and their families. Brock will be fondly remembered by Don & Joanne Hills and by his extended families of Earl, Ian and Heather Mckinnon.1 His body was cremated and his ashes were returned home to Southampton for a private family service.1

Virginia Parker was born on 12 April 1923.2 She married Barry Greathead, son of Joseph Alexander Greathead and Almeda Grasser, on 27 July 1945.1,2 Her husband Barry died on 18 January 1968 in Canada aged 49.3,2 Virginia is described as 'Long-time Southamptonite, Virginia Greathead of the Greathead Suckers' in an article about the Volunteer Appreciation Day at Historic Cottage. Suckers I am told was Candy made from molasses on a wooden stick.4,2 Virginia died on 1 November 2015 in Elgin Abbey, Chesley, Southampton, Ontario, Canada, aged 92.5 Virginia was buried on 7 November 2015 in St Paul's Anglican Church, Southampton, Ontario, Canada.5
