The ceremony was witnessed by Philip Camfield and Thomas Simpson.2 Elizabeth died in 1801 in Yorkshire, England.1 Elizabeth was buried in Catterick, Yorkshire, England.1

     Richard Ellerton was born in 1678 in West Witton, Yorkshire, England, His parents were Edward Ellerton and Ann.1 He married Sarah ...1 Richard died in 1743 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England, At the time of his death in 1743 he was obviously a wealthy businessman, as shown by the inventory of goods and chattels. His house (possibly Walburn Hall, owned by the Hutton family?) was well furnished and the "old chamber" included two churns (for butter-making) and a spinning wheel. He had a mixed farm: with sheep, cows, horses, a bull for breeding, and pigs. His widow Sarah was named as the Administrator of his estate.1

     Anne Houseman was born in 1785.1 She married Christopher Ellerton, son of Richard Ellerton and Catherine Whitelock, in 1802 in Marske, Yorkshire, England, They had four known children Catherine born 1803, Mary, Ann born 189=09, Richard born 1813 and Elizabeth born 1820.1 Her husband Christopher died on 1839.1 Anne died in 1860.1

     Richard Ellerton was born in 1740 in Bolton Castle, Redmire, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Edward Ellerton and Ann Coupland.1 He married Catherine Whitelock, daughter of Christopher Whitelock and Catherine Ellerton, on 23 May 1770 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England, Richard and Catherine had three known children, Edward born 1771, Richard born 1775 and Christopher.1,2 He witnessed the will of George Whitelock on 4 February 1778.2 Richard died in 1800 in Downholme, Yorkshire, England.1

     Eileen Florence Lannon was born on 27 September 1913.2 She married William Charles Ashton Wright, son of William J Wright and Winifred Alice Georgina Ashton, on 6 March 1948 in Cairo, Egypt, Eileen was known as Pip. Bill was a Capt in the Royal Artillery and stationed in the Middle East after the war. Pip was in the ATS - women's army - and travelled out to Egypt to join him and get married. She had to give up her commision in the army to marry him.1 Eileen died on 16 July 1982 in Bournemouth, Dorset, England, aged 68.1,3
