White, in 1883 in Durham, England.1,3 There is a lovely picture of Joseph, Jane Ann and their three children William, Joseph and George.1 Her husband Joseph died on 1890 he was killed in Tudhoe pit.1,4 Jane was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in 171 Tudhoe Colliery, Tudhoe, Durham, England, Jane was living with her four young sons, James was only 6 months old.5 A lovely picture of the widowed Jane and and her four sons.1 Jane was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 171 Tudhoe Colliery, Tudhoe, Durham, England, Jane was living with her four sons.6 Jane was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 171 Tudhoe Colliery, Spennymoor, Durham, England, Jane was living with her son James in her three roomed home. One of her five children had died.7 Jane died on 15 August 1926 in Tudhoe Colliery, Tudhoe, Durham, England, from bronchial asthma endoceriditus. Her son George registered the death, he was living at 29 Darlington Road, Ferryhill.1,8 Jane was buried in Tudhoe Cemetery, Tudhoe, Durham, England.1

The household also contained his future mother in law Hannah Anderson. he married her daughter Maria in 1872.2 He married Maria Anderson, daughter of George Anderson and Hannah Kitching, in 1872 in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England.3 Andrew was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in Railway Row, Chilton, Durham, England, Andrew was a general labourer living with his wife and children. His mother in law was also staying with them.4 Andrew was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in Cornforth, Durham, England, Andrew was a quarry man living with his wife and children.5 Andrew was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in Cornforth, Durham, England, Andrew was a Limestone quarryman living with his wife and children.6 His wife Maria died on 1903 in Sedgefield, Durham, England.7 Andrew was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Church Road, Cornforth, Durham, England, Andrew was working as a labourer at the slag crushing works living with his daughter, son in law and grandaughter and visitor Elfrida May Morrow. Andrew states he and his recently deceased wife had six children, one of which had died before 1911.8 Andrew died in 1921 in Sedgefield, Durham, England.9
