A surviving programme of the Stockton Hippodrome shows she sang at a concert in 1917 to aid the Stockton and Thornaby Hospital Fund, seemingly a family charity.5 She married Robert Groskop, son of George Groskop and Martha Robinson, on 6 May 1924 in The Register Ofiice, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales, Lauretta was married under the name of Greathead, giving her father as Henry Greathead a rivetter in shipbuilding yard. They were married by licence. Robert being a General Dealer and Lauretta a Professor of Music. They both gave The Queens Hotel, Newport as their address. I would suggest that maybe Robert continued to look after Joseph and Godfrey Robert's sickly brothers.6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Lauretta was listed as living at 108 Phyllis Street, Barry, Glamorganshire, Wales, with her husband Robert.
