     John Chalmers Davey was born on 24 January 1920.1 He was the son of William Joseph Methley Davey and Letitia Walker.1 William, Letitia and their small sons moved suddenly to Toorak, Melbourne in 1922 and shortly afterwards to Grant Street, East Mavern, Melbourne. Methley worked for Kalamazoo as a sales Manager.1 He married Marjorie Alexandrina Clarkson on 10 October 1953 in Watsons Bay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2 John died on 17 January 1997 aged 76.1

     Gordon Chalmers Davey was born on 3 November 1922 after a car accident in which his mother and brother John were thrown out of a car. Gordon was named after the midwife in the Lying in house where he was born's brother who had died in WWI apparently.1 He was the son of William Joseph Methley Davey and Letitia Walker.1 Gordon died on 6 November 1922 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, of convulsions following the accident.1
