     William Bailey was born in 1848 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Charles Bailey and Phoebe ...1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Rodney Row, Handsworth, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, he was listed as the son of Charles Bailey.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 47 Springfield Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, he was listed as the nephew of James Ruff William was a pearl worker.4 He married Jane Willis in 1869 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,5 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Back 75 No 2 Mott Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, William was a pearl button maker living with his wife, a french polisher and their son.6 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 14 Court 9 House Mott Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, William was a pearl button maker living with his wife a french polisher, their son Henry a scholar and daughter Emily.7 William was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 14 Court 6 House Mott Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, William was a pearl button turner living with his wife and daughter Annie.8 William died in 1911 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.9
