     Nathaniel Alfred Merriman was born on 28 January 1892 in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales.1,2,3 He was the son of Nathaniel Merriman and Eliza Louisa Merry.1 He was baptised on 3 May 1892 in St Marys, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales.1 Nathaniel was educated at Magdalene School in Oxford.1 He married Mabel L Lake in 1923 in Pancras, London, England.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Nathaniel was listed as living at 66 Marlborough Hill, Harrow, London, England, with his wife Mabel. Nathaniel was a railway official assistant o a research manager living with his wife and mother. Mabel helped at the ARP report centre.5 Nathaniel died in January 1984 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.6

     Mabel L Lake was born on 18 November 1898. She married Nathaniel Alfred Merriman, son of Nathaniel Merriman and Eliza Louisa Merry, in 1923 in Pancras, London, England.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Mabel was listed as living at 66 Marlborough Hill, Harrow, London, England, with her husband Nathaniel. Nathaniel was a railway official assistant o a research manager living with his wife and mother. Mabel helped at the ARP report centre.2

     Harriett Trew was born about 1855 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.1 She married Charles Victor Merriman, son of Charles Anthony Merriman and Catherine Langshaw, in Banchory, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in The Rectory, St Mary's, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the wife of Charles Victor Merriman.2 Harriett died on 18 January 1928 in West Cornwall Infirmary, Penzance, Cornwall, England, her usual address was Thule Germoe in Maazion.3,4 Harriett did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 2 February 1932 to her husband in London. Her estate was valued at £979 14s 9d.4

     Clement Victor Merriman was born on 9 February 1885 in Salford, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Charles Victor Merriman and Harriett Trew.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in The Rectory, St Mary's, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, England, he was listed as the son of Charles Victor Merriman.3 Clement was educated at Haileybury and Imperial Service College.1 Clement founded the Settlement and Citrus Industry at White River in the Transvaal.1 He married Winifred Sincliar Dukes on 7 October 1920.1 Clement died on 7 December 1948 in Pretoria, Cape Province, South Africa, aged 63.1

     Geoffrey Clement Xavier Merriman was born on 22 October 1929.1 He was the son of Clement Victor Merriman and Winifred Sincliar Dukes.1 Geoffrey died on 9 September 1953 aged 23 in action while on board HMS Concord in the Pearl River Estuary. This was in Chinese waters.1

     Charles Henry Merriman was born in 1893 in Chorlton, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Charles Victor Merriman and Harriett Trew.1 Charles died on 9 April 1917 Charles was a casualty of war.1,3 Charles was buried in Wancourt British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France, he was a Second Lieutenant in the 2nd Battaliion of the Wiltshire Regimentand is buried under VI. E. 8.3
