He was Municipal Education Officer.4 He married Anne Irons in 1944 in Wokingham, Berkshire, England.5 Francis died in 1977 in Bournemouth, Dorset, England.6

     Thomas Fellowes Merriman was born about 1890 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was the son of Robert William Merriman and Edith Hannah Merriman.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Sempringham, Salisbury Road, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England, he was listed as the son of Robert William Merriman.2 Thomas was educated at St John's College in Oxford.3 Thomas was ordained on 20 December 1914 to the Curacy of Kentish Town.3 The will of Robert William Merriman was proved by Thomas Fellowes Merriman his son and his mother Edith in Salisbury on 27 March 1924 His estate was valued at £12,702 2s1d.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Thomas was listed as living at Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England, Thomas was a clerk in holy orders and a Reserve RAMC Class Z living with his housekeeper.5 Thomas died in 1954 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.6

     Henry Gordon Merriman was born on 25 December 1823 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Merriman and Mary Clarke. Henry was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Church yard, Bridgenorth, Shropshire, England, Henry was the Headmaster of Bridgenorth Grammas School and a Fellow of New College, Oxford.2 He married Jane Augusta Edmonds on 7 January 1852 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.3,4 Henry was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Guildford Royal Grammar School, Guildford, Surrey, England, Henry was a house master at the school living with his wife and childreb.5 Henry was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Guildford Royal Grammar School, Guildford, Surrey, England, Henry was the House Master at the school with his wife and children.6 An unknown person was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 3 April 1881 in Rectory, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England, Henry was the Rector living with his wife and two daughters, they had four servants.7 Henry died on 10 August 1887 in Kingsclere, Hampshire, England, aged 63.8 The will of Reverend Henry was proved on 3 October 1887 at the Principal Registry by Edward Baverstock Merriman of Marlborough and Thomas Mark Merriman of 25 Austin - Friars in the City of London.      Hannah Merriman was born on 17 October 1807.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Merriman and Mary Clarke.1 She married John Douglas Mackenzie on 25 March 1837 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 Her husband John died on 29 October 1885 late of Hatfield Road, St Albans.1,2 Hannah died on 11 November 1887 aged 80 late of Hatfield Road in St Albans.1,2 The will of Hannah was proved on 14 January 1888 n the Principal Register by her father-in-law Rev Harry Ward Mackenzie of Wellington College of Wokingham. Her effects were valued at £206 18s8d and resworn in August 1889 as £482 17s1d.2

     Elizabeth Merriman was born on 4 June 1806 in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Merriman and Mary Clarke.1 She married Thomas Ward Blagg on 12 August 1820 in St Mary, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 Her husband Thomas died on 31 December 1874 aged 73.1 Elizabeth died on 30 January 1887 aged 80 formerly of St John's Lodge but late of St Peter's Park both in St Albans.1 The will of Elizabeth was proved on 24 March 1887 in the Principal Registry by her brother the Rev Henry Gordon Merriman of East Woodley Rectory near Newbury in Berkshire and Mary Leveson, wife of Edward John Leveson of Cluny Anerley Road in Surrey and niece of Elizabeth.2

Langshaw and Sarah ..., on 30 September 1840.1 Charles was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Priness Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, England, Charles was a surgeon and apothocery living with his wife, children, mother in law Sarah Langshaw and four servants. His youngest daughter was only two weeks old.2 Charles was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Knutsford, Cheshire, England, Charles was a surgeon and apothocery in medical practice living with his wife, mother in law, niece, governess and three servants.3 Charles died on 30 March 1870 in Knutsford, Cheshire, England, aged 55 he was an Apothecary from Knutsford.1,4 The will of Charles was proved on 9 June 1870 in Chester to his widow Catherine the sole Exectrix.
