They had a boarder Robet Lamb a machinist at the shipyard and later became Walter's brother in law, marrying his sister Mabel.5 Walter was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 12 Sandringham Road, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, Walter was a clerk in an accounts office living with his wife and children.6 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Walter was listed as living at 12 Sandringham Road, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, with his wife Mary. Walter was a clerk, rent and debt collector.7 Walter died on 14 December 1947 in 12 Sandringham Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England, aged 76.8 His estate was probated on 14 February 1948 in Durham. Administration papers with a will were issued to Harold Bosomworth and estate agents clerk. Her effects were valued at £820.8

He married Ethel May Greathead, daughter of William Greathead and Martha Highfield, in 1912 in Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.1 George was listed as head of household in the census of 19 June 1921 in Blue Bell Hotel, Norfolk Street, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, George was a licenced victualler in his hotel living with his wife, daughter and sister in law.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register George was listed as living at 6 Portland Place, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, with his wife Ethel. George was an unemployed general canvasser, living with his daughter and possibly brother in law.3 George died on 24 April 1946 in 6 Portland Place, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, aged 72 from congestive cardiac failure -myocarditis. He had been a licensed victualler.4,5
