His father was described as Thomas Greathead Harper a retired clerk in holy orders. So a little unsure whether I have the correct man.6,1 His wife Annie died on 1953 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.7 Albert died in 1973 in Southam, Warwickshire, England.8

     Alice Bull was born about 1862 in Attleborough, Warwickshire, England.1 She married Thomas Talbot in 1880 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Court 36 House 5, Hospital Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Thomas Talbot.3 Alice was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 98 Church Street, Whittington, Derbyshire, England, Alice was living with her five children, her husband was not at home on census night, she was described as married. She has a boarder living with her and her family a widower called Alfred Lander and his two daughters. He was a coal hewer and his two daughters Maria aged 8 and Alethea aged 6 were attending school.4 Her husband Thomas died on before 1911.1 Alice was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 28 Hardwick Street, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, Alice was iving with five of her six children, one had already died and two boarders in her five roomed home. The boarders were called Kidd Lane aged 24 a music hall artist and Marrie Corri aged 37 an actress.5

     Annie Ault was born in 1884 in Carnforth, Lancashire, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of William Ault and Grace Hannah Houghton.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 14 St Luke's Place, Holbeck, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Ault Annie was a jacket finnisher.4 She married George Herbert Thompson, son of Edward Thompson and Hannah Greathead, on 6 June 1908 in Parish Church, Beeston, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by George Henry Moon, Margaret Ann Thompson and Elsie Thompson. Margaret and Elsie were sisters of the groom. George was a carpenter in the Royal Navy and gave his address as Spencer Place, Leeds, while Annie lived at 5 Parkfield Grove, Beeston.1,5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Parkfield Grove, Beeston, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of William Ault Annie was living back with her parents as her husband George was at sea with the Royal Navy.6 George and Annie emigrated to Canada and had two daughters Nellie and Margaret. George's sister Margaret also emigrated with them but never married.7 Her husband George died on 4 June 1949 in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.7 Annie died on 15 July 1953 in Trail, British Columbia, Canada.7

     William Ault was born about 1851 in Tutbury, Staffordshire, England.1 He married Grace Hannah Houghton in 1877 in Holbeck, Yorkshire, England.1,2 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 9 Laburnham Street, Holbeck, Yorkshire, England, William was a railway engine driver living with his wife and young son.3 William was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 14 St Luke's Place, Holbeck, Yorkshire, England, William was a Steam Tramway driver living with his wife and three children.4 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 5 Parkfield Grove, Beeston, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, William was an engine man on the tramway living with his wife, son who was deaf and worked as a cabinet maker and married daughter Annie, her husband was a carpenter in the Royal Navy and was at sea. They lived in their five roomed home. William and Grace had six children only three of which were still alive in 1911.5 His wife Grace died on 1921 in Holbeck, Yorkshire, England.6
