Rose O'Neill1

     Rose O'Neill was born about 1818 in County Antrim, Ireland, her parents were Jane Devlin and Charles O'Neill.1 She married Charles Collins.1 Her husband Charles died on before 1857.1 Rose and her children migrated to Australia on an assisted program. They arrived in Melbourne in 1857 on the Lady Milton from Liverpool. Rose was listed as a housekeeper and she had a job in Bendigo waiting for her as a servant. Rose was 39, Jane17, Hugh 10, Sally 8, Charles 5 and Patrick 3 when they arrived.1 Rose died in 1886 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.1
