Annie Elizabeth Foster was born about 1866. She married Henry Herbert Proven, son of David Proven and Sarah Ann Glover, on 10 September 1895 in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England, after a certificate had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by J T Foster and F M Foster. Henry was a clerk in a factory, his father (erroneously in my belief) was listed as John Proven a deceased ships steward. I think his father was David Proven. Annie's father was John Foster a boiler smith. Henry stated he lived in 16 South Street, Accrington Road in Burnley and Annie lived in 68 Westgate in Guiisborough.1 Annie died in 1900 in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England.2
