White and Jane ..., in 1845 in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England.1,3 William was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at 6 Queen Street, Stockton on Tees, Durham, England, William was a Railway Station Master living with his wife and children.4 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in 5 Archer Street, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, William was a railway agent living with his wife, mother in law and children.5 His wife Elizabeth died on 1864 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.6 He married Ellen Casebourne, daughter of Thomas Casebourne and Catherine Rose, in 1870 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.1,7 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 5 Archer Street, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, William was a railway clerk living with his wife and two of his children.8 William died on 23 March 1879 in Hendon, Bishopwearmouth, Sunderland, Durham, England.9,10 The will of William was proved on 8 April 1879 in Durham. He was a Station Master. His probate was granted to William, his son who lived at 44 Hampton Road, Stockton on Tees and was a timber measurer. His estate was under £200.10

     George William Walker was born on 11 March 1884 in Canal Street, Belper, Derbyshire, England.2,3 He married Bridget Smith on 23 October 1907 in Our Lady's and St Patrick's Chapel, Oldham, Lancashire, England, They had nine children: John Chrysoston 1909-1970; Gerald 1910-1925; Joseph 1912-1990; Mary 1913-1989; George 1916-2002; Clement 1918-2007; Agnes Anne 1920-2012; Veronica 1922-2003; Teresa 1927-2014 and Francis 1929-2006.2,4 In 1936 George was listed as a gardener on the marriage certificate of his son Joseph when he married Kate.1 George died on 2 September 1971 in Derbyshire, England, aged 87.2,5

     John Greathead was born about 1781 in Heighington, Durham, England.1 John was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 June 1841 in Grinkle, Easington, Durham, England, John was a farmer with four servants.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Lazenby Station, Wilton, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the father in law of Michael Hicks John was a farm labourer.3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in 18 Chapel Green, Goatland, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the boarder of James Featherstone John was a retired farmer.4 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Sandpits Farm, Wilton, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the father of Isabella Hicks Isabella was a former dressmaker, living with her children, grandaughter Isabella and father.5 John died in 1872 in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England.6

     Isabella Greathead was born about 1815 in Acklam, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of John Greathead.1 She married Michael Hicks.1 In the census of 30 March 1851 at Lazenby Station, Wilton, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Michael Hicks Michael was a farmer of 140 acres employong five labourers living with his wife, children and father in law.2 Her husband Michael died on before 1871.1 Isabella was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Sandpits Farm, Wilton, Yorkshire, England, Isabella was a former dressmaker, living with her children, grandaughter Isabella and father.3 Isabella died in 1877 in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England.4
